Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday to star in Pati Patni Aur Woh remake

T-Series and BR Studios had announced a JV for a multiple film deal. the first venture out of that's the Pati Patni Aur Woh remake that is an adaptation of the 1978 BR Chopra satire on marital life. While the original had Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha, and Ranjeeta in the lead, the adaptation stars Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday.

Producers Bhushan Kumar, Juno Chopra, and Abhay Chopra who last produced Bhoothnath Returns are glad to have come back together for this film. While the core of the story remains the same, the makers have contemporized it to fit today�s time. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film goes on floors in February.

this association with BR Studios and Pati Patni Aur Woh, Bhushan Kumar of T-Series said, �We had a great synergy with BR Studios when we worked on Bhoothnath Returns a few years ago. Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 beats The Kapil Sharma Show 2 in a rating war

Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 premiered on January 5 and made a smashing debut on rating chart at the top spot while The Kapil Sharma Show was a close second.

Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 has made a smashing entry in the rating chart. The show premiered on Jan 5 and has garnered 9.7 million impressions to bag the top spot, in line with BARC Ratings. The stunt-based reality show features some very popular faces like Avika Gor, Bharti Singh, Ridhima Pandit, Sreesanth, Punit Pathak, and Zain Imam. The Kapil Sharma Show 2 is a close second with 9.1 million impressions.

Kapil Sharma's show was the top show last week but their fans should not be worried as the ratings have bettered. Last week, TKSS received 8.1 million impressions and in the week there's an there is a rise of around million, which is commendable. The comedy show is back to ruling hearts and how. Naagin 3, that slipped to the seventh position last week with 6 million impressions has revived itself with 8.9 million impressions at the third spot.

Looks like the season of reality shows are back as 3 reality shows have found a place among top 5 shows on the rating chart. Shilpa Shetty's  Super Dancer Chapter 3 garnered 7.4 million impressions and was at no. 4 spots while Kundali Bhagya was at the fifth spot with 6.5 million impressions.

Uri also managed to get favorable reviews from the critics. Vicky plays Major Vihan Shergill in the film which talks about�s India's revenge after several jawans were killed during the Uri attack. The nation unified after the attacks and many hailed the Modi Government for executing surgical strikes to tell our enemies, there is only so much that India can endure. The Kapil Sharma Show season 2 has now jumped to the second position in the Top ten most viewed television show with Star Screen Awards 2019 managing to cement its numero uno position with 9109 impressions.

The Kapil Sharma Show season 2, which aired its first episode on December 29, 2018, has become the second most viewed television show in India within two weeks of its launch.

The second season of the comedy show, that brings an ensemble cast of host Kapil Sharma and Navjot Singh Sidhu along with Kiku Sharda, Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Sumona Chakraborty and Chandan Prabhakar, has opened to TRP ratings of 3.4 and has raked in 3.2 over the weekend with a total 8123 impressions, according to the TRP reports of the first week of January released by BARC.

The show has now jumped to the second position in the Top ten most viewed television show with Star Screen Awards 2019 managing to cement its numero uno position with 9109 impressions.

Super Dancer Chapter 3 has taken the third spot with 7678 impressions followed by Kundali Bhagya at number 4 with 6763 impressions and Bigg Boss 12 at number 5 with 6245 impressions in the list. The sixth spot has been secured by Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah with 6118 impressions followed by Naagin 3 at 7 with 6036 impressions, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai at 8 with 5997 impressions, Kumkum Bhagya at 9 with 5701 impressions and Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki at 10 with 5628 impressions.

While fans are rejoicing and lauding Kapil Sharma for making a stunning comeback on tv, they missed the Jodi of Kapil and Sunil Grover who never failed to entertain the audience until they fall laughing from their seats.

The last BARC ratings for the year 2018 came out this week and it left many surprised. The 52nd week saw a major shuffling in terms of ratings and positioning of your favorite TV shows. the largest shocker was Indian Idol 10 dethroning Naagin 3, that had reserved the numero uno position for a whole. The very popular family drama Taarak Mehta Ooltah Chashmah made its comeback in the top 10 list. However, the evergreen Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai was missing from it. Shocking, is not it? Kumkum Bhagya also had a major drop, while other shows like  Tujhse Hai Raabta and Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega made a strong presence in the high 10 lists.

Indian Idol 10

The singing reality show was a success this year. Although it ne'er took the top slot, by the end of its season the show took the top position. quite a Successful Grand Finale!

Naagin 3

The supernatural drama was just a few impressions away from making it to the top even this week. The makers have a major track coming soon.

Kundali Bhagya

The show which is usually either on the top of the second spot had to settle the 3rd rank this week.

Ekta Kapoor's show took the 5th position. Although its reruns were quite hit in the Urban + Rural list, the current track appears to be not working with the plenty.

The dark horse of the year is witnessing shuffling for a few weeks. However, it's not gone out of the top 10 list as of now.

Tujhse Hai Raabta

Another show that's the underdog is Tujhse Hai Raabta. After being in the top five shows, this one has seen a drop but it's still in the top 10.

Kullfi Kumar Bajewaala

The 8th spot is taken by Kullfi. However, until last week, Kullfi Kumar Bajewaala was in high 5 shows and now, this could be a major drop.

Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki

Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki took the 9th spot. The show is like of a full moon, it appears in the top 10 list quite irregularly.

Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega

The list ends with another underdog, Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega. Without big massive names, the show is doing quite well.

With the tagline, �Apna Time Aayega,� the film�s posters are true to its theme. The Zoya Akhtar film is inspired by the lives of Mumbai street rappers Divine and Naezy. Ranveer and Alia are pairing up on the silver screen for the first time for the film.

While one in all the photos show Ranveer wearing a hoodie and is similar to what the makers had revealed as the film�s 1st look, another shows Alia and Ranveer sharing earphones as they listen to music while looking in opposite directions. Alia looks demure but determined in the photo.

Gully Boy will be screened at the Berlin International Film Festival. it'll be shown in the Berlinale Special section of the prestigious festival, which will be held between Feb 7 and Feb 17. �Gully Boy turned out to be a really fulfilling creative experience. It obtaining select for the Berlin Film Fest came as an awesome piece of reports,� Ranveer told Hindustan Times.

Veteran Bollywood actor Kader Khan has died on Tuesday in Canada

Veteran Bollywood actor-screenwriter Kader Khan had died on Tuesday in Canada. He was 81.

Veteran Bollywood actor-screenwriter Kader Khan passed away on Tuesday in Canada. He was 81.

Kader Khan�s son Sarfaraz Khan confirmed the news. He said, �Yes, my daddy has left us this morning. He was unwell from the last few months and in the hospital from last few days. We tried everything we could, however, it was time. He was a really loving man and he loved everyone who was a part of his life.�

The actor had been hospitalized in Canada after he complained of breathlessness. Kader Khan had been put on a ventilator.

After having undergone a knee surgery which had gone awry, Khan had been unable to walk properly, a post which he had begun using a cane to support his movement.

Kader Khan has acted in over 300 films, aside from writing dialogues for 250 movies. The actor-screenwriter has been a part of numerous hits including  Aankhen, Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Judaai, Khoon Bhari Maang, Biwi Ho To Aisi, Bol Radha Bol and Judwaa. In a career spanning over 45 years, Khan�s major collaboration came with David Dhawan and Govinda in the 1990s. The trio delivered blockbusters like Saajan Chale Sasural, Hero No. 1, Coolie No. 1, Dulhe Raja and Haseena Maan Jaayegi.

Khan is survived by his wife Hajra, son Sarfaraz, daughter-in-law and grandchildren.
