Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday to star in Pati Patni Aur Woh remake

T-Series and BR Studios had announced a JV for a multiple film deal. the first venture out of that's the Pati Patni Aur Woh remake that is an adaptation of the 1978 BR Chopra satire on marital life. While the original had Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha, and Ranjeeta in the lead, the adaptation stars Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday.

Producers Bhushan Kumar, Juno Chopra, and Abhay Chopra who last produced Bhoothnath Returns are glad to have come back together for this film. While the core of the story remains the same, the makers have contemporized it to fit today�s time. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film goes on floors in February.

Kader Khan�s son Sarfaraz Khan confirmed the news. He said, �Yes, my daddy has left us this morning. He was unwell from the last few months and in the hospital from last few days. We tried everything we could, however, it was time. He was a really loving man and he loved everyone who was a part of his life.�

The actor had been hospitalized in Canada after he complained of breathlessness. Kader Khan had been put on a ventilator.

After having undergone a knee surgery which had gone awry, Khan had been unable to walk properly, a post which he had begun using a cane to support his movement.

Kader Khan has acted in over 300 films, aside from writing dialogues for 250 movies. The actor-screenwriter has been a part of numerous hits including  Aankhen, Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Judaai, Khoon Bhari Maang, Biwi Ho To Aisi, Bol Radha Bol and Judwaa. In a career spanning over 45 years, Khan�s major collaboration came with David Dhawan and Govinda in the 1990s. The trio delivered blockbusters like Saajan Chale Sasural, Hero No. 1, Coolie No. 1, Dulhe Raja and Haseena Maan Jaayegi.

Khan is survived by his wife Hajra, son Sarfaraz, daughter-in-law and grandchildren.
