Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 premiered on January 5 and made a smashing debut on rating chart at the top spot while The Kapil Sharma Show was a close second.

Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 has made a smashing entry in the rating chart. The show premiered on Jan 5 and has garnered 9.7 million impressions to bag the top spot, in line with BARC Ratings. The stunt-based reality show features some very popular faces like Avika Gor, Bharti Singh, Ridhima Pandit, Sreesanth, Punit Pathak, and Zain Imam. The Kapil Sharma Show 2 is a close second with 9.1 million impressions.

Kapil Sharma's show was the top show last week but their fans should not be worried as the ratings have bettered. Last week, TKSS received 8.1 million impressions and in the week there's an there is a rise of around million, which is commendable. The comedy show is back to ruling hearts and how. Naagin 3, that slipped to the seventh position last week with 6 million impressions has revived itself with 8.9 million impressions at the third spot.

Looks like the season of reality shows are back as 3 reality shows have found a place among top 5 shows on the rating chart. Shilpa Shetty's  Super Dancer Chapter 3 garnered 7.4 million impressions and was at no. 4 spots while Kundali Bhagya was at the fifth spot with 6.5 million impressions.

The Kapil Sharma Show 2 TRP report and rating: Becomes Second most viewed Television show

The Kapil Sharma Show season 2 has now jumped to the second position in the Top ten most viewed television show with Star Screen Awards 2019 managing to cement its numero uno position with 9109 impressions.

The Kapil Sharma Show season 2, which aired its first episode on December 29, 2018, has become the second most viewed television show in India within two weeks of its launch.

The second season of the comedy show, that brings an ensemble cast of host Kapil Sharma and Navjot Singh Sidhu along with Kiku Sharda, Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Sumona Chakraborty and Chandan Prabhakar, has opened to TRP ratings of 3.4 and has raked in 3.2 over the weekend with a total 8123 impressions, according to the TRP reports of the first week of January released by BARC.

The show has now jumped to the second position in the Top ten most viewed television show with Star Screen Awards 2019 managing to cement its numero uno position with 9109 impressions.

Super Dancer Chapter 3 has taken the third spot with 7678 impressions followed by Kundali Bhagya at number 4 with 6763 impressions and Bigg Boss 12 at number 5 with 6245 impressions in the list. The sixth spot has been secured by Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah with 6118 impressions followed by Naagin 3 at 7 with 6036 impressions, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai at 8 with 5997 impressions, Kumkum Bhagya at 9 with 5701 impressions and Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki at 10 with 5628 impressions.

While fans are rejoicing and lauding Kapil Sharma for making a stunning comeback on tv, they missed the Jodi of Kapil and Sunil Grover who never failed to entertain the audience until they fall laughing from their seats.

The very popular family drama Taarak Mehta Ooltah Chashmah made its comeback in the top 10 list. However, the evergreen Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai was missing from it. Shocking, is not it? Kumkum Bhagya also had a major drop, while other shows like  Tujhse Hai Raabta and Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega made a strong presence in the high 10 lists.

Indian Idol 10

The singing reality show was a success this year. Although it ne'er took the top slot, by the end of its season the show took the top position. quite a Successful Grand Finale!

The show which is usually either on the top of the second spot had to settle the 3rd rank this week.
