The 33-year-old Reigns, whose real name is Joe Anoa'i, made the announcement Mon night to open the episode of "Raw."

He was originally diagnosed in 2008 at age 22, although he quickly went into remission. He is been fighting the disease since.

Anoa'i, who played football at Georgia school, has appeared in the last four main events at WrestleMania. The WWE's universal champion same throughout the announcement that he plans on returning to the ring once he gets healthy.

"Reigns is taking his battle with leukemia public in an effort raise awareness and funds for research in order to advance cures for the disease," WWE said in a statement.

"We wanted to keep it a low key. however, Ginni is the only daughter in her family. Her folks wished the marriage to air a lavish scale. and that I completely understand their sentiments. My mother also desires the marriage to be lavish," Kapil confirmed the news to IANS.

Kapil said though the marriage date was fixed long back, he determined to stay mum because of the promotions of his maiden production 'Son Of Manjeet Singh'. "For the past few weeks, I have been promoting my Punjabi film. I did not wish to speak regarding the marriage throughout the promotions, though the media repeatedly kept asking," he said.

�While December 12 is that the wedding date, for now, Kapil and his family want to zero in on the most auspicious date. The family has already started prepping up for the big fat Punjabi wedding which can happen in his hometown. Kapil is in Mumbai, however, has been keeping to touch and personally look into the preparations. His show is also supposed to go on floors soon.

Ajaz Khan was arrested at a hotel in Belapur when he was found in possession of eight tablets of Ecstasy. the former Bigg Boss contestant will be produced in a court on Tuesday.

Ajaz was released on bail by a Mumbai court.
